マツダの30周年特別記念モデル「ロードスター(MX-5)30th Anniversary」が販売開始して僅か4時間で完売。まさかの143台追加で合計643台販売に
～「ロードスター」の30周年特別記念モデルが僅か4時間で完売！アメリカでは販売台数を追加する事態に！～
マツダは以前、オープンスポーツモデル「ロードスター(MX-5)」が販売スタートして今年で30周年を迎えるということで、その特別記念モデルとなる「ロードスター30th Anniversary」が世界限定500台のみ販売されましたが、マツダによれば、アメリカにて割り当てられた500台が僅か4時間にて完売したため、急きょ＋143台追加販売することがわかりました。
～但し、総生産台数が3,143台になるわけではない～
元々「ロードスター30th Anniversary」は、世界限定3,000台のみ販売された個体で、その国々により割り振り台数が決められているのですが、今回アメリカ市場にて143台が追加販売されるというのは総生産台数が3,143台になるわけではなく、他にて割り当てられている複数台をアメリカ市場分へと移すというもの。
つまり、他の市場での割当台数が減ってしまうので、若干アメリカ市場贔屓になってしまうわけですね。
なお、この特別記念モデルはソフトトップ仕様とハードトップ仕様(RF)の2種類から選択が可能で、圧倒的人気なのはソフトトップ仕様。
ボディカラーはレーシングオレンジと呼ばれる専用カラーのみ、足元には10スポークタイプの鍛造アルミホイール、ブレーキキャリパはオレンジカラーにて塗装されています。
インテリアについても、エアコンの吹き出し口周りやブラックレザートリムにもオレンジのアクセントカラーが追加され、高級感とスポーティさに加えて遊び心も加味されています。
なお、それ以外の標準装備内容としては、レーシング向けのレカロシートやオートヘッドライト、オートエアコン、ナビゲーションディスプレイ、雨滴感知ワイパー、Android Auto／Apple CarPlayサポート、9スピーカーBOSEサウンドシステム、ビルシュタイン・ダンパー、ブレンボ製ブレーキシステム等、非常に豪華な装備内容となっています。
パワートレインは、排気量2.0L 直列4気筒エンジンを搭載し、最高出力181hpを発揮します。
トランスミッションは、6速MT／ATの何れかから選択が可能となりますが、約7割以上が6速MTを選択しているとのこと。
なお、アメリカにて販売されている個体は、ソフトトップ仕様が約383万円から、ハードトップ仕様が約411万円からの発売となっています。

With a heartbeat of a true sports car, this celebratory vehicle is equipped with RAYS ZE40 17-inch Dark Gunmetal forged alloy wheels, orange Brembo front brake calipers, exclusive RECARO sports seats and the Skyactiv-G 2.0 engine rated to deliver 181 horsepower. The dynamic driving feeling is matched with premium features such as Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM infotainment technologies and a BOSE® nine-speaker audio system.
The 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary has a starting MSRP[1] of $34,995 and is adorned with a unique “30th Anniversary” non-sequential serialized badge. Customers currently on the waitlist will be notified of the newly available inventory.
